Earn XP. Climb the Leaderboard. Win Cool Stuff.
5 Min
At Coder's Clubhouse, learning to code feels like leveling up in your favorite game because it literally is. Every Path Program student earns XP Points for showing effort, helping their classmates, attending consecutive classes, and crushing challenges.
The XP Leaderboard lives on the big screen for everyone to see. It's live, which means the moment someone moves up in the rankings, a lightning bolt flashes across the screen and the new placement is locked in. The energy in the room? You can feel it.

How do you earn XP?
Students earn XP Points by doing the things that make great coders, and great teammates. Showing up consistently, putting in real effort, helping a classmate work through a problem, and completing challenges all add to their score. Every session is a new chance to climb the board.
Real prizes for real effort
XP Points aren't just for bragging rights, they can be cashed in for actual prizes. Here's how the tiers break down:
Tier 1 — Rubik's Cubes, Pokémon packs, Fidgets, Coder's Clubhouse gear, etc
Tier 2 — Gift cards, Micro:bit kits, Games, etc
Tier 3 — Raspberry Pi, Gift Cards, Beginner Drones, Arduino starter kits, etc.
Kids literally code their way to cool prizes.

More than a scoreboard
The leaderboard does something bigger than rank students; it builds a culture. When kids see their name climb the board, they want to keep going. When they see a classmate surge ahead, they push harder. It turns individual effort into a shared experience, and that's where the real motivation lives.
