Getting the Keys
One of the biggest milestones so far: getting the keys to our space. Walking in for the first time as our future Coder’s Clubhouse was both exciting and surreal. There was a small hiccup along the way (as there always is with projects like this), but overall things are in a great place and we’re officially ready to begin the buildout. Seeing the empty space made it easy to imagine what it will soon become—a welcoming, creative environment for kids to explore technology and build confidence.
Buildout Ready
With the keys in hand and plans finalized, we’re gearing up for the next phase. This is where the real transformation begins—walls, layout, details, and all the behind-the-scenes work that turns an empty space into a functioning learning center. It’s equal parts exciting and a little overwhelming, but in the best way.
Twenty-Two Computers (Yes, Really)
Another huge moment: TWENTY-TWO Coder’s Clubhouse computers were delivered… straight to our house. Our basement has officially become computer central. Seeing them stacked up and ready to go was one of those moments where the scale of what we’re building really hit us. These are the machines kids will use to learn, create, and problem-solve every day—and having them here made everything feel incredibly real.
Lights, Camera, Action
We also spent time at Skol Marketing filming videos for our upcoming marketing campaign. To be honest, neither Jeremiah nor I were exactly thrilled about being in front of the camera at first. But once we got started, it turned out to be more fun (and definitely more tiring!) than we expected. It was a great reminder that stepping outside your comfort zone is often where the best things happen.
Feeling the Momentum
Between the keys, the computers, and the filming, it feels like things are moving quickly—and we couldn’t be more excited. Coder’s Clubhouse is being built step by step, and each milestone brings us closer to opening our doors. We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received and can’t wait to share what’s next.
